Rusted Top Hat Bolt Removal

How would you even losen the rusted top hat bolt? All it does is spin the strut cylinder.

Is that under load or did you jack up the car and try to turn the bolt ?

hmm .......... I really don't know what to tell you man. Worst thing would be to cut your strut piston and get a new strut mount and strut.

I have new strut. I just need to take off the bolt. Maybe some local mechanic could do the swap for me.
