That's the dyno is now done on 1SWT02's car. Click here for the results. Go to post 58. By the way, sorry bro for posting these results before you had the chance. Nice numbers though.

The area under the curve is amazing!!! Peak HP is still the same at redline but the Maxima is getting a giant power boost before even coming close to redline.

If I could actually READ the numbers we might find that the difference between stock and Hotshot might be greater than 20WHP in some areas!

Are HS headers out for a 2000 GXE 5speed Cali spec? Or when are they expected to be?

can anyone provide some more details on these results? what dyno? were the numbers corrected? Aside from the headers, there were absolutely NO other modifications, correct? Glad to finally see some numbers. These should work on a 2k/2k1 just like the cattman headers right? just relocate the o2 sensors..

I don't know, something ain't right about the stock dyno. Maximas usually have a FAT power band past 4500rpm. The graph for the stock setup looks like that of a Honda, weak in the beginning with lots of HP at redline. The graphs should be close to one another but those are two different shapes completely. We need someone else to dyno before we can count this as the almighty mod to have.

Hey guys what do you guys think?
Know you know why I felt a definite difference after 4K. Yeah the car was completely stock except for the headers (stock tires, exhaust and intake)

I have to agree about the nice little kick after the VI opens with the headers. I defiantely feel the same thing and will have a dynojet dyno for you guys this Saturday as well as a few video pulls on the dyno to hear the exhaust note.

Could you stick your stock muffler on for one of the runs?

Where are you going to dyno at? I would love to hear the car in person.

Of course high quality videos of your runs on the dyno and on the street would be nice as well.

re: Dyno is a Clayton 1000HP chassis dyno and #'s are corrected, this is from the guys at Auto Link

The #'s for my car are 251hp/237tq in 4th gear. I will post the dyno chart as soon as this scanner co-operates with me.

251hp is impressive for just having the headers.

Don't confuse the numbers from a Clayton dyno with a Dynojet dyno or a Dynapak dyno. They all generate different numbers. You can't compare numbers between machines. A dyno is a tool to measure gains and losses. That's why it's important to dyno on the same machine every time. 251hp on a Clayton may only be a 220whp on a Dynojet.
