Frankencar or Weapon R Intake? Help!

For the last three months I have been trying to get in contact(email, phone) with Frankencar to find out about the intake. They never reply, and their phone number for the office is disconnected. Are they still sellin them. What about the Weapon R intake. They any good. I tried to search this site, but the search feature is down right now. The only thing I don't like about the Weapon R intake is the crappy foam filter. Can you put a K&N filter on a weapon R? Does the Weapon R sound as good as the Frankencar, perforance, ect. Thanks for your help.

Website is www.berktechnology.com but it doesn't have the newer stuff on there yet. I'm completely sold out right now. I thought my last shipment would last 2-3 months but was gone in less than 1 month! Sit tight and I'll let you all know when everything arrives.

Regards,
Bryan

You can place an order with Frankencar and place one with Berk at the same time. Frankencar has midpipes now, and Berk is on back order. But I'm still willing to bet you will get the Berk first.

I love my Frankencar and I was lucky to get in on a group deal and got it pretty fast. However, knowing what I currently know about their customer service(nonexistent), and seeing that Berk has the same thing for less, I would have to go with Berk. Good luck and I think you will like the results.

Order the FrankenCar and Berk like another said. Even though the FrankenCar is in stock, I'd bet you $100 you would get the Berk first.

BERK!

I got the WeaponR and switch from the Dragon foam filter to the Apexi filter. Not as loud as when I first installed it, but the growl is still there.

I bet you a million dollars that the berk would be on the car for three months by the time frankencar shipped their ghetto product.

I have a Weapon R Intake, I replaced the Filter with a K&N Cone filter and it RIPPS with Noise when I get on it. People on the street always look at me like I have Dual Exhaust or Turbo hooked up. The one thing I like about the Weapon is you can make it into a nice Ram Air Intake with an adapter if you want which will get you some nice cold air from the outside. Take a look at my car domain page and you can see what my intake looks like with the Foam Filter and now the K&N Filter on.
