Sorry man. I almost feel bad for enjoying mine. Replaced LF strut 3 times? What happens to them?

That's what I'm saying, dang! Dude, you must've got the first car that they tried to put together in Smryna, Tn. I haven't seen anybody with more problems than you have listed with any car. I'm tempted to ask for your dealers name so I can call them and beg that they take the car back for you!

This is unbelievable.....

There was the one guy that got his money back. Similar number and type problems.

This is by far the longest list of problems I have seen on any '04 Maxima. Most folks I know with '04s are having very few problems.

It seriously might be time to talk to someone at the Nissan regional level. The SL is essentially a $30K vehicle from a reputable make. It is their 'flagship'. They should not want one of their vehicles with this many problems out on the road.

My heartfelt sympathy. Best of luck getting this situation addressed by Nissan.

This guy recently seems to post a lot and he only posts a list of problems with no other information. If what he says is true, there's no reason why he should still have the car (assuming he made some attempt to get rid of it under the lemon law)

Yes, we know there are some problems with 04's, but I'm about ready to call on this guy.

Well, Let me just first say that I'm sorry to hear about all this bad stuff with your new car. I'm a first-time owner of a Maxima and I had an issue with the rattling in the rear deck as well, but fortunately my dealer was able to get it fixed the first try. If you haven't already, I would suggest giving them the TSB on that specific issue & tell them to follow the instructions. It worked for me. About the warped glove box, I have noticed that my glove box door sticks out farther on one side than the other, was this what you experienced & if so, was that fixed & covered by the warranty? I agree with Lightonthehill, I would seriously either speak with the management of the dealership or someone from Nissan about getting a new car all together.

Well, Paul, sixteen tire balancings has got to be some sort of record.
Are you SURE about the number here?
