Got the new bracket, the drama continues

ok, so after getting bracket #3, i went ahead and tried to install it.

so after trying to fit all the peices together, the fhcs that fits into hole #14 would exactly go in.

it fit with just the bracket on and it fit with just the tensioner pulley assembly on, but not witht he two together.

so what i ended up doing was machining a groove into the tensioner pulley assembly and viola! it works perfectly. it just didnt line up properly, anyone else have that problem.

I also had to grind down the plate so the belt wouldnt rub (i installed ejj's 3.33 pulley)

so now to my other problem.

the belt is fine, the blower is working, but at around 4000 rpm, the motor totally bogs. it feels like its not getting enough fuel.

i can hear the bov, but i dont know how much boost im running because it was just a test run.

i also need to know what sort of fitting to get for the fp gauge.

does anyone think that the inline pump is failing? should i put my walbro in and take the inline out? what about the fmu?

well the aux should not be stalling. the walbro is the best way to go. double check everything you have done. make sure there are no air leaks and go from there. you should not have any probs. its all about trial and error......

i am not too familiar with the v2 but the idler pulley is an important part of a super charger set up

I was going to ask you a question. The clamp that holds the hose to the thermostat, did you change the bolt head facing outward or completely out of the way therefor the plate would align itself on the bottom?

If not then thats your problem right there. Sorry about not noticing that before, I find it odd that your snapping brackets just like that. Not one but two

yeah, i did that on the original install.

i might of found out what the problem is.

i took my car to the acura dealership thats a block from my house and an org member, blackbirdvq, scanned it with his obd2 reader from his palm.

the refresh rate was so slow that we had trouble diagnosing the problem.

bbvq seems to think that its either the MAF (since i had to relocate it on the install, but no codes)

or

spark plug gap/misfire, i did have the dealer install new plugs 2500 miles ago.

im going back on monday to use the dealer's snap on reader to see if it has a better refresher rate.

meanwhile, can anyone tell me the proper gap for the 3.33 pulley?

oh yeah, the engine works fine until 4500 rpm, where it sticks in the gear and doesn't shift.

hmmm

jaime, the reason why the belt wasn't lining up before was because i didnt have that bolt that you sold me, thanks.

the tensioner bracket was bending where it went underneath the mounting plate, so i just ground it down to where it would fit.

**UPDATE**

Took a 200 mile trip down to see my girlfriend, and i wfound a fuel leak.

something burned a hole in the fuel line next to the filter.

i will see if that was the problem.

im going to open it up on the way home.
