Vogtland Lowering Springs 00-03 Maxima

Anyone have these and if so how are they? I would like to get them but just want some reviews on how they are and if they are worth it compared to other springs here in the poll?

ok ok off topic....he was asking about the Vogtland springs (which I'd also like to know about....)

there are already enough threads with argument about the rest of them (including my threads...)

yeah well I'm going with them I think,

KYB GR-2 Struts all 4 and Vogtland Lowering Springs all for $494 Shipped.

Plus I found a nissan mechanic that will do it on the side for $100 bucks to put them all on. Then all I have to do is an Alignment. And I'll be finished! so about $650 bucks is what lowering springs and struts is gonna run me... Is that even a decent deal for what I'm getting?? Or should I go with Tein lowering springs and just buy the KYB GR-2's. I thought the tokico adj struts were kinda cool... Any input on those? I don't have to have lowering springs but adjusting my struts if needed, is kinda cool.

I just got mine installed a few days ago and I'm pretty happy with them so far, with the illuminas set to 3 f/r it feels pretty close to stock comfort wise, with much better handling. Its a real good looking drop a little lower in the rear but pretty close to even.

100 is cheap.. if the mechanic is familiar with maximas,.. and has done them a few times,.. he can prob do it in an hour and a half or better.. which is about right on for hourly pay.. but its the type of job that should pay by the job not the labor.. either way.. you cant say no to 100 bucks... on my old 2000 maxima.. i had kyb and vog.. the drop was great.. very very slight sag in the rear but hard to notice.. rode stiff but firm and very responsive, cut the bumpstops!!,.. right now im on illuminas and progress.. and i feel handling wise the vogtland *might* have been better ,.. but overall the illuminas trump the kyb's and its amazing being able to adjust them and dial in the right setting..like being able to run them soft in the winter on snow tires and hard on summer tires.. honestly.. dont jump to conclusions.. search the stickies and post a wanted to buy.. and see what people throw at you for suspension....feel free to PM me for more questions.. ill try and dig up a kyb/vogtland drop pic... hold up...
