bose radio replacement
bose radio replacement
Hey,
I have ordered a new radio for my max, and I wanted to know if there is anything I should take with me when i go in so that they don't try to charge me? My left side speakers keep cutting in and out. If anyone has any helpful info I would appreciate it.
Thanks
Joel

I'm having MAJOR problems with my radio cutting out. It is all the speakers except the sub. I think it is a loose connection going to the Amp, but when I wiggle the wires, I can't reproduce it. So it might be in the amp which nissan has said that it is an $800 part!!!! 2002 flag ship fully loaded $32,000 car and I've had radio problems since 31000 miles.
After going through 5 bose head units, when the 5th one was going bad I got ****ed and spent 430 bucks on an eclipse head unit.
If it's under warranty, it's free. If you're out of warranty, then don't bother spending money for it. Just get an aftermarket.

You may want to reference the TSB if they give you any runaround: http://maxima.theowensfamily.com/tsb/
