i want to buy a HID kit for my car, but i have one concern about it. how do you pass state inspections w/o a high beam. talked to one of my inspectors at work, and he said it was neccessary. thanks

just swap back stock bulbs when the time comes.

 

besides even if you had a hi/low kit, they might not pass you because "you have blue bulbs" . How dumb does that sound!? I had a problem when I had the car inspected, they tried telling me my 2002 HID was illegal because they were blue bulbs. I told them they come with the car! idiots

 

is it that easy to switch back to a stock bulb? if so, that solves my problem.

 

you can swap back to stock bulbs in a couple min
