I have a 2003 GLE, I just had my HID anti theft deterrent system installed by my dealer today. I just noticed two things:

1. the color of my high beam lights is yellow now, wtf! I thought they were bright white, is the high beam light always yellow?

2. the headlight looked dimmer and weaker now, wtf! It is just my eye?

ps. they scrathed my drive side front bumper while installing the anit theft kit. twice !!! WTF !!!


Please please help me!!!

 

I'm supposed to have the antitheft kit installed soon. I sure hope they don't do anything else. Did the alter/change the lenses/covers/housing?

 

high beam has always been yellow

 

lol more like you just had the anti-do less damage to my car while stealing my headlamp kit. As far as the headlight looking weaker, it sounds like the headlight needing to be aimed. I think there is a how to some where on here.

The high beam is halogen, so it will always look yellow compared to your HID low beams.

 

High beams look always yellow. They are halogens and aren't super white at all like the low beams.

 

separeate bulbs for high beams.
