Best type of intake for an automatic

This is a question ive been debating for a while. I have an auto 96 se and i know that CAI is better for the bottom end which would help seeing how i only launch at 2000 rpms with an auto tranny. Then again the top end is where the maxima needs the extra power so im unsure if i should keep my HAI or to go to a CAI. What would be the best thing to do overall.

I agree with what Nick said. I put my stock intake back in along with a K&N panel filter, and could not be happier. I had a HAI as well(JWT), and could not tell if there was any difference in performance. To me the only thing it added was noise. I have read many threads on intakes and have come to the conclusion that for our cars they do not make much of a difference, it is mostly for the sound. Just use the money that you were going to spend on the intake towards something you will feel, like a Y-pipe , that is if you do not already have one.
