PiG in a wreck

Last night, 3/20-21/04 at about midnight I forgot how curvy the road was and took it too fast (idk how fast) and lost control and went off the road
I walked away with just some cuts on my foot
the pig was not as lucky
back windshield, the rear axle are both gone
blew both right side tires
possible frame damage
my seat was my normal slightly reclined position b/4
when I got out it was reclined horizontally to the back seat
it sucks

pictures

Well if they total it then I am going to probably buy it back and build the maxima I want again using what I can out of it since the engine, transmission, interior, hood and quite a bit of other stuff it still good. I will part out a lot of the pieces I don't need here on the org.

I know I was stupid for taking turns so fast and destroying a car I worked so hard to get. Hopefully people will be a little more careful. I know I will.

btw that is my dad in two of those pictures, he wouldn't get out of the way.

We did call the cops (mistake) and I got a ticket for losing control of the vehicle or something but I can go to a driving school to fix it.

Now 2 maximas in Southern slugs are out. Frosty with his differential and me with my wreck. This is not the best time for maximas in LA/MS area.

Good to see you came out well. The car looks really messed up though, even though it does not appear too evident right away. That looks like some severe twisting that may proove difficult to fix correctly.

This displeases me... This is the 2nd 4th gen in our Baton Rouge gang that has totalled their car in the past week... We're dropping like flies indeed... the only maxima's we still have driving around are all the white ones... lol

A 5th gen would be nice, esp since they come with abs standard and that may have saved me. (insert prophetic tone) *My maxima will return like a pheonix and rise from the ashes better than before. hahahahha*

Its always the damn turns....... Trust me, after an accident like that (similar to mine) you will take corners MUCH more carefully from now on. Your gut will tell you to.

Hey Spig, the picture looks bad, why is it solarized, it's kind of hard to see clearly but i can see the damage. Were you using a digi cam? what kind of cam was it?

I indeed did lose.

It was a Nikon Coolpix 2100 or something that my dad has. It does not take the best pictures. Frosty's Sony camera is MUCH better, but my dad got it for work for like $200 and frosty's was like $1000.

The ticket will be for "Failure to Maintain Control" or other similar wording. It means that if you are driving down the road alone and your car winds up in a ditch then you obviously failed to maintan control of it. It's a very common ticket in single-vehicle accidents.

i would never take my 4th gen hard into corners. we handle like a boat even with drop, strut/sway bars, and a good set of Z tires.

btw were you driving with your seats all the way down like that?

sorrie about the loss man...
