Back again

Just wanted to say Hi again.
I just purchased a 99 SE 5spd. I had one new in 99 but sold it to raise money for a wedding. Well I got divorced and the first thing I did was go and get another Maxima same options and color.

Love for a woman comes and goes but love for a car stays forever.

I had forgotten how nice and smooth the car was. I was on the dealers lot and they had a white 99 SE 5spd with 60K miles. They also had a 2001 Altima SE auto with 40K miles for $500 more. Same options. I took them both for a ride and had to have the Maxima again. So much more room and the V6 takes the cake. Even though it was older and had higher miles. I figured I would save money on insurance. Luckily I saved some of my mods and will have to start Maxima 2.0 and dating all over again.

back in the saddle again

I had a bunch of cars after the Max and none of them made me want to drive. The Max is addictive. The sound and the pull, it just begs to be driven hard. I bought a 99 Solara V6 for my wife and she got it in the divorce. I don't even care. She can have the POS. Everybody says that Toyota has better quality but it doesn't. The thing rattled and banged over bumps at only 25k miles. It is just perceived quality. The V6 was slow to rev and never had any power. The handling was horrible. I used to make myself car sick. AHhhh back in the saddle again.
I am located and in Malden. I will check out the forums. I want to get up to Epping and see what the Max will do. When does it open?

For some reason the max is just a car to be driven, Other newer cars i see on the road have no urge to be driven. My baby just wants to have some time on the freeway to get some exercise, not to mention she loves the attention from other drivers.
