Hello All,

I finally got my Maxima back ( new tranny and clutch ), and I programmed my keyless entry, and I'm loving it how I dont have to stick the key in anymore, just hit my buttons to lock and unlock. My bottom orange flash when I get out and activiate my security, I would like it to honk or something loud, rather than just flash, I saw the write up to re-wire for sound

but was wondering if someone has done this but used something else besides a buzzer to get a louder sound? I listened to the buzzer sound and would prefer a horn type sound if its possible.

I did Alarm Beep “mod” on my maxima and used the buzzer it called for. I didn’t like the sound at first but it kind of grew on me…it’s something different. I also moved the buzzer from inside the trunk to outside under the rear bumper so it is a little louder.

For the few dollars I spent on the buzzer, I like it.

I have an alarm siren hooked up to it, its volume is perfect, not too loud. Its inside next to my spare tire.
