5th Gen springs on a 4th gen...

ok...now from some previous posts, I think that I read that the front springs from a 5th and 4th gens are interchangeable. Can anyone confirm that? That would be a great help!

yep, they are.

My friend has stock 5th gen springs from my 2k on his 96 in the front.
It 'seems' as if the car is more jacked up in the front though as it would be on stock 4th gen springs.. may have to do with 5th gens being heavier and designed to support more weight.. but it's not that big of a difference.

Also..

5th gen springs WILL fit in the rear on 4th gen struts.. the spring just narrows up a little at the bottom, and will have to "snap in" with a little bit of driving to sit in place on the 4th gen strut. I have 4th gen KYB AGX.

4th gen springs do NOT fit on 5th gen struts in the rear. But 5th gen springs on 4th gen struts do..

front is interchangible in every way.. 4th gen struts will have to be modified slightly to fit..

nope

front springs are the same.. the top coil of the 5th gen spring is kind of flattened but it doesn't matter..

they fit the same

just the way the car will sit 'may' be a little bit different.. but it can just be in my head too..
