I am currently purchasing a mevi and am deciding if porting it would give any good gains. I was planning on buying a lower intake manifold and port matching it with the mevi and then the mevi to the throttle body. If anyone has any insight of porting or anything related to this topic please give me some info. Also what gains would be expected?

Can you describe the port process? What does it do? Smooth the metal kind of like what I assume extrude hone does? Tnx
