Will the G35 wheels even work on the Max since the car is RWD and the Max is FWD?

as long as the rims are the same size (not staggered like a 350Z) they will work. If they are staggered you won't be able to rotate your tires.....FWD vs RWD doesn't matter, since you rotate your tires anyways.

G35C are staggered. 1/2 in wider in rear.
but you can use the same size tires on all four so you can rotate
not the smartest thing to do, but it can be done

G35C wheels are not staggered. Both the front and back are 18x8 with a 30mm offset. The tires are different though: 225/45/18 front and 245/45/18 rear. They track edition 350z wheels are staggered 18x8.5 in the rear IIRC.

G35C wheels on a non-dropped maxima doesnt look good in my opinion. You gotta drop the car and then it will look much better with those rims on.

The inch gap on the stock G35C makes it look real nice with those wheels

Yeah, the G35 wheels are not staggered. All four are 18x8. Only the tires differ. I'm probably going to go with some 235/40-18's all around so I can rotate them with ease.
2001SE, you have a point & yes, my Maxspeeds are on the way, can't wait!

Are those g35 wheels lighter than the stock 17 se wheels? Or at least not heavier

They are lighter than stock 17s, and have more rim clearance for brake upgrades...

my breakover angle aint that great, but it's great for rockcrawling, especially the loose stuff. right now I have the stock suspension, and will look into getting a set of coilovers soon. as far as the tires go, I dont want to put in the money just to get thinner rubber. I am frugal and will wait unti these tires wear out.

I think it looks decent even without a drop, but imagine how it looks with a little work:

Those 350z wheels don't look much different than the stock Maxima SE wheel.

G35 18X8 Wheels with a +30 offset and Maxspeeds spells trouble. It appears that you may run into a rubbing problem. From My understanding, you can't go below a +35 on an 8" wheel. If this thread is correct in that the offset of the G35 18x8 is a +30, then I see trouble coming your way.

Good Luck, I hope that I am wrong or your offset isn't a +30.

Yes the offset is 30mm but it only rubs with a 245 tire. Rolling fenders will also help.

Yeah, when I get my springs, I'm going to go with 235/40/18 all around to avoid rubbing & I'll also buy some new shocks and install them all 3 at once. There's a nearby customizing shop, KMP, and I'll schedule something with them. Then its straight to Alignment Plus!
