make and model of stock speakers? 4th gen

Hey guys,

Just curious and too lazy to take apart a door to find out..( Search is giving me a fatal error today too..ugh )

What is the make and model of the stock speakers on a 4th Gen? Non-Bose

I'm sure Nissan didn't make them themselves.

Interesting...

So pretty much anything new I put in will be better.

Didn't even know Panasonic made car speakers. Apparently, looking at the ones on their website, the retail models are pretty good.

The factory ones are a dual cone design, with a "whizzer cone" for a tweeter, and yes, just about anything will be better. They are 6.5's in the doors and deck, but make sure you get an oversize, euro, or GM fit (I don't know why they use all these different names, but make sure it's got holes that are further from center than typical 6.5's).
