The pics aren't really that helpful. That's an awful lot of color in the interior...Maybe more exterior pics and engine and exhaust pics, since you listed that you have custom exhaust and intake.

I was also trying to figure out what engine swap you did to pull 240 hp?

The hood pins really aren't necessary unless you have a CF hood. I think your car already came with a tach and I don't really like the dash cover, it looks like something in my grandpa's Crown Victoria.

On the bright side, you do have an Aztec Red VE 5-speed, which is cool.

Sounds like your going to be torn apart here evilvamp7. I definitely like the seats and the gauges, but the tach might be a little overboard. The dash has a little too much color. If you want to make friends here, tell us about the performance mods, and what kind of motor swap you were talking about, and what makes you think you have 240HP. Please share! And hey, I think it's a little ricey too, but if that's how you like it, more power to ya

I would also have to say the tach is a little much. However, the seats look really awesome! The dash isnt too bad either, since its just a few parts painted.

I am also wondering what engine swap you did.

well if you are pushing 240hp that tach sure will come in handy since you're obvisously shifting at like 300,000rpm ...*** da stock tach yo

you did a complete motor swap, yet you had to post twice on here asking how to install your tachometer?? ummmmmmm......no.

Hmmmm. I definetly think that the interior would look better and fit the car more, if you had more Exterior mods. It just seems like a big surprise when you open the doors.

I think it's fairly obvious he bought 5 of the 10HP Ebay chip upgrades and installed them in series. I bought 20 of them and my car now makes 390HP to the crank!!!!

Eh, I don't like the steel wheeels(doesn't aluminum come stock for all maximas?), and the carbon fiber little hooks on the hood are pretty corny... but besides that it doesn't look bad, like the seats.

seats are nice, tach is way too much (rice), i have a ve 5speed and you dont make 240, - ive got new vtc's, knock sensor, warpspeed exhaust y-pipe, underdrive pulley, cai, ported and polished, heads, intake, throttlebody and i might be makin around 220-230 and 230 is pushin it so unless youve got more stuff done than i do your not makin 240. otherwise car looks great

you're most likely not making anywhere near 220+ either...probably no more than 190 or so

I think with the mods gowireless was saying that he had on his car he is making much more than stock 190 HP. Maybe 190HP at the wheels or something. You would think at least 220 at the flywheel right?

flywheel hp is for the birds...if its not hitting the pavement it doesn't count

Hey, it's looking pretty nice man. I know everyone around here is ripping you a new one, but make the car the way you want it. It's all in the eyes of the beholders you know. Everyone has their own opinion haha.......time for some wheels though

'98 Chevy Camaro Z-28 0-60: 5.2 sec, 1/4 mi: 13.7
'97 Toyota Supra Turbo 0-60: 5.1 sec, 1/4 mi: 13.6
'92 Nissan Maxima SE 0-60: 7.3 sec, 1/4 mi: 15.7
Okay, this info is from this source: http://web.missouri.edu/~apcb20/times.html , so I don't know exactly how accurrate it is, but the supra turbo and the camaro of the same year are about the same. I would have to say the Supra is a much better car and I'm sure it handles better. I'd really like to see some dyno slips AND some track times from you if you think you can beat a Supra Turbo so easily. You are starting to sound like you are all talk, with no show except for that interior of yours. Lets see some track times evilvamp7.

plain and simple who in their right mind would take pics of their Pep Boys interior over a supposed engine swap that gave them 240hp...priorities??? oh right, you dropped your camera after you became distracted when your super bright shift light went off at that amazingly high 5500rpm..... keep driving...we've had plenty guys like you come through here before.

Yeah, I think Matt would be the best judge of that.

Also, if you have 240 hp, I doubt if you could keep up with a stock supra turbo, unless you are talking about the older style (1986.5-1992), which only comes with like 210 or 220 hp at the flywhee, but is heavier than a Maximal. A 93-up Supra turbo comes stock with 320 hp. As for Camaros, that is pretty vague. I think there are V8 Camaros from the 70s and early 80s that only run about 140 hp or something.

Like some of us said before....tell us what kind of swap you did and what mods you have, then we will start believing you. Until then,

People, people slow down with the flaming. Besides what if the guy is pushing a hell of a lot of N2O. Or he could have done a turbo and a large one at that. Maybe not.

Due to the fact that the turbo will be on the outside of the car due to the large VE engine. N2O it is. Let's see I will guess 3 100shots running wet into each fuel line going into the engine. WOOT!!!!!!

ooooo no you didnt.
i have a 1990 supra turbo and this car is a turd compared to the supra.
1) supra turbo 5 speed - 153,000 miles - k&n filtercharger
2) maxima se 5 speed - 156,000 miles - apc intake filter(soon to be cold air w/pvc piping)

compared to my supra, the ride isnt as good, the seats are not as comfy, the acceleration pales in comparison, the braking is worse, and i see nothing that can be done unless you have a SC vq35de in it, which you dont.....
i need engine pictures... and i hope you're not gonna throw some photochops in here.......

and if you're not talking about the mk3 supra turbo, and are actually talking about the mkiv (93-98) supra turbo, well, son, you are laughably wrong.

240 to the wheels is believable with the sort of emphasis you have put on it....

who are you trying to convince?

240 oh God not another one of these guys. A modded VE with a great compression motor is probably doing about 180- 185 to the wheels at most.
