10w-30
Get some synthetic like Mobile 1. It is expensive, but great oil!
I go 5k miles inbetween changes, with ease.

I have been using Mobil 1 5w30 for several years now. I wonder if I should switch to the thicker 10w30 now that my car has 133k on it. I live in San Diego, so the weather is pretty nice here most of the time.

I don't know what the rules are about going to a thicker oil when your max gets more miles on it. I would like to know.
