How hard is it to install a b-pipe in ur garage? Cuz i have a '95 max and have found out the hard way that every screw that i need to come off is rusted to the point where it won't move. Even after sprayin liquid wrench, WD-40 and the such. I would really would like to install it myself and not pay a guy at like midas $60 an hour to install it. And what's the difference between the stillen and the Courtesy b-pipe, other than price and what r people payin for each one. thanks.

That's what I thought about my CatConv. Same rusted bolt story. I gave up and brought it to a shop for help. Even they had fun (48K miles already). They torched the bolts to loosen/cut em.

Exhaust shops carry extra bolts, nuts, gaskets, etc. Do you?

P.S. Make sure you've got tight B-pipe connections at both ends and good luck.

I believe the B-pipe would be a lot easier installation than the y-pipe. Have you considered a stainless steel Budget b-pipe with a resonator? I wouldn't buy a b-pipe without a resonator and given the rust situation you have, perhaps a muffler shop would be the best alternative. It doesn't have to be a big-name shop, perhaps a small independent guy would do just as good a job at a lower price.

Wow...why did this get resurrected?

I never got the b-pipe, courtesy or stillen. Never had the money to spend on it and figured out that it wasn't really worth it to me.

Man, I was such a newb back then. I should've searched, when it was available to all.

Just use a little Simple Green and a scraper to get the cat off.
