How to install a Cattman FSTB ?
Hey Guys, I know it may sounds weird, but I just received my FSTB from Cattman today, and there was no instruction on how to install. It is pretty obvious were it goes anyone could easily figured that one out, but I'm thinking of some of the subtility like how should I torked those bolt, and I am pretty shure that some of you already did top notch installation, said so I'm looking for the best advise.

That sounds about right: 32. I believe Courtesy Nissan speaks of this on their install page for their version of the FSTB: http://www.courtesyparts.com
Installation of the Cattman
I just installed mine on sunday. 3 cuts on the air filter holder. Remove the frame that attaches to the left (right when looking at it from the front) tower, 2 phillips (10mm) and the other 2 standard (10mm) nuts. The metal frame can then be pushed or laid over on top of the airbox. On the one frame brace (welded to the top of the tower) Cut straight down, right of the hole and cut parallel to the center of the strut tower. Just cut the brace and nothing else. On the back side of the brace cut at a right angle of the previous cut. These cuts will be difficult to do because of limited hacksaw movement. You will notice that it will create a sharp point on the cut brace. I hammered fine flat to the strut tower. It will be covered by the rings of the FSTB. Once those cuts are complete you will need to cut on the frame that you laid over as well. The U-shaped holder for the furthest rubber gromet will have to be trimmed down or it will push against the FSTB. On the other side the metal ring has a little lip that stands up. I hacked mine off but you could easily hammer it straight. Once the cuts and hammering is done you need to park the car on a very level surface (for me a theater parking lot) and remove 3 14mm nuts from each strut tower and then put on the FSTB. Fairly simply to adjust once it is on. I didn't pay attention to torque measurments. I just tightened them real tight. Once all nuts and bolts have been put back in place and the frame for the airbox reinstalled, double check everything one more time and ENJOY.
