Speed Bleeder Owners checkin

Did anyone get these to fit flush? The directions say to tighten until flush, however these are longer than my 2002 original screws and the originals were not flush.

I don't understand what you mean by flush, flush with what. I have mine and they work great, but they aren't flush with anything.

Yeah, I know...thats what the directions say on the website...flush.

I wound up tightening it until I felt resistance and then turning it another 1/4 to 1/2 turn.

I say just try installing one. If you can't get it so it "works" (i.e. closes and doesn't let fluid out, but then lets fluid out when you crack it open) just put the other stock one back in. I didn't use their website directions I think mine came with directions, but even so it's pretty easy and no directions are really needed. I bet their website directions are just worded strangely.

Probably. The speedbleeders are a bit longer than the regular ones so I was hesitant to put them in too far. I asked around on another board and some of the guys said that a little seeped out on them from the opening under the rubber plug...probably just a drop left over from the bleed.

Just tighten them to the torque spec from the Nissan ESM (11 to 13 ft lbs). I have speed bleeders and have bled my system twice with them. I have had no problems with them whatsoever. There is a small amout of fluid left over on the bleeding bolt after bleeding and that is normal.
