Help! Blinkers stopped working.

This is really strange. When I was doing various things to my car today my blinkers suddenly stopped working. By blinkers I mean everything. Front and rear/passenger and driver sides. Not only that-- but the interior bliker lights as well. I checked the fuse for "signal" and it didn't appear to be blown. I just can't figure it out. Can someone give me an idea as to what this might be? Thanks!

Actually, yes!

Actually, yes. I had the dash surrounding my stereo out today when I was painting it. So, if I clip the hazard switch back on it should work? Or are you saying that I might have somehow screwed up a wire? I figured it might have something to do with that. I didn't think just unclipping the buttons would shut of my blinkers . Thanks!

Yep, blinkers don't work with hazard switch unplugged, it needs to be plugged in to complete the circuit or something.

Fuses have to swapped -or- measured. Visual inspection is valid only if a burned fuse is found.

When haz switch is [erroneously] in mid position, nothin blinks the same.

damn man i WISH the police around here would pull people for not signalling. people weave lanes like it's NASCAR or something out there. yeah i also looked for my blinker once and couldn't find it. i was planning on rewiring it in a semi-special way... actually...

it was going to make the sidemarkers alternate w/ the blinkers at all times.

Hand signals count in Cali if blinkers are out. See 2007 Driver's Manual

Yes and I don't know why on earth Tony Stewart went down to the bottom lane in a vain attempt to draft with his teammate on the last lap. he HAD the win, and gave it away, because the top line was a good 3mph faster than the bottom. his teammate, the 18, was finishing 4th either way.

but i digress. i heard turn signal usage is "a sign of weakness" in california, and is a "close up that tiny space i wanted to fit my car into" signal instead. if this is true, i will never go to california, because i would never get anywhere. i'm addicted to my turn signal stalk. i even signal out of the driveway... if i'm leaving my parents' house. so if my signal ever craps out... i'm farked.

I dont think it would have matter he report that he was chasing me for 4 mile and i didnt pull over, he was behind me for the 4 miles but didnt have his lights on, when i had to get over he cut his light on (forgot about the hand signals) i pull into the gas station he gets me out the car and the k9 cops come up looking into my car with there dog looking for anything they told me i was high on drugs and drunk , they chase a old lady away who needed help with her car said i was dangerous and to keep back. After all that i got a ticket for $115 for no signal. so i think i need to get it fix soon. I think its alot to go thru for a ticket, but maybe its just me, you guys have it made. stay out of ga if urs dont work lol

get an FSM, it has the location in it. I'm just too lazy to look for it right now.

grab the 94 one, and it will hopefully be in the same location. most things are the same from 89-94 on maxima.

The 90 model does not have the door lock timer that is shown in the 94 FSM. But the part that is in the door lock timer's place is, in fact, the combo flasher unit.

True. But what I find strange is that even without the door lock timer that the 92-94 has, my 90 operates in exactly the same manner as the 92 parts bucket.

they basically took a whole lot of individual control boxes and stuffed them in a cheaper-to-manufacture do-it-all box.. or at least that's what i gather from it
