Beware....4 racing stories in one night. must read

Well I got out of work tonight and decided to go cruise around and look for some ricers, it did not take very long at all. In fact it was an action packed night.

1) Me vs. WRX STI - Now I know these things have 300+ Hp but I had to try it. One guy in the car and Im assuming it was stock. We first started in 2nd gear I pulled on him a little to about 1-1.5 car lengths. By the end of 3rd hes at my door. Finally I go to shift in 4th and I start barely walking on him. I was shocked, but I do own a modded MAXIMA. I talked to him for a minute and he wanted to know what I had done. Told him I/E/ECU, and asked him if he wanted to go from the line....he said NO! Bye Bye subaru.

2) Me vs. Neon SRT-4 - Black SRT-4 with guy driver and his girlfriend. I went in 2nd gear again with this guy. Same thing started to happen I slowly walked on him through 2nd to about 1 car length and then he quickly made it back up by the end of 3rd. After that he pulled about 1-1.5 car lengths on me up to 105 or so. I talked to him at the light and said that the maxima was fast and was a "Sleeper". We then wiated for the light to turn green. He was definitely ready with his gf and all. I took him by about 1 car length by the end of 1st. Mid way through 2nd he was about 1.5 car lenghts behind, but once again as I went into 3rd he caught up and slowly passed me at around 105-110. If it was the 1/4 I would have won. Regardless those thing are fast and the maxima can beat lots of cars off the line with good driver.

3) Me vs. Turbo Prelude(not sure what year, but newer) - 1st we raced on the freeway starting at about 70 or so. I beat him pretty good, but he came back for more. This time we went from 80 on. I was about 1/2 a car length ahead until 4th gear where he inched up just passed me. When I shifted into 5th he finally started to drift a little. Very fast honda IMO. We got off the freeway and did a few stoplight runs. I would beat him out of the hole easily by 2 car lengths, but the faster we got the closer he got to me. He beat me to 100 once barely(1/4 car length) and I beat him the other 2 times by 1-2 car lengths.

4) Me vs. Lancer EVO VII with 4 people in it. This was the last one of the night.
I thought this one was the funniest. 1st race was from 35. I was ahead all the way until about 115 where he started to walk on me a little, but I do mean a little. Got to the stoplight and the driver asked what I had done. I said "Intake and Exhaust" and he said "And what else?" which I thought was kind of funny. I asked him to race me off the line and he goes "Dude this is all wheel drive", but I was prepared. I wait for the green and take off ahead on the way to 2nd gear. I shift fast and I hear him mis shift into 2nd. I slowed back down and waited for them to catch back up. We came to another red light this time I knew he wouldnt mess up again. This time I took him off the line good by 1-1.5 car lengths until 2nd gear. During 2nd he is still about 1.5 car lengths back. He started to catch up to about 1 car length around 70, but the Max didnt give up and he eventually gave up before we got to 100.

I have to admit these were probably not some of the best drivers, but hey either am I, just better than them. If the EVO only had 1 or 2 people in it Im sure he would have walked on me good.
I would rate these accordingly as far as straight line pefromance goes.

1. Neon SRT-4
2. Lancer EVO VII
3. WRK STI

I dont know why when somebody says they beat a evo VII everybody gets bent out of shape. First of all I never said my car was faster than any of these, but that I beat them. If I was driving anyone of those cars against my maxima Im sure I would have won.

1)STI - Car-stats has it at 13.2 in the 1/4. Either he was playing with me or he didnt know how to drive. Driver looked about mid 20's.

2)SRT-4 - Car-stats has it at 14.2 in the 1/4. Doesnt it make sense that with his girl in the seat that he is doing mid 14's. Thats why I was winning up unitl 4th gear.

3)EVO VII - Car-stats has it at 13.6 in the 1/4. This guy didnt sound like he knew how to shift very well. He missed his 1-2 shift the first light we raced at. He also had at least 450 extra lbs in the car. This means that the quickest he could run if he was a pro driver would be around 14.0-14.2 only he wasnt a pro driver.

I didnt make any of the stories up, but if you want to think this than that is fine with me. I saw what happened with my very own eyes. Like I said any of the cars with just one person should have wooped on me(still baffled at the WRX race though)

By the way I have
Technosquare ECU
Y-pipe
Cat
Apexi Cat-back
PR CAI
UR UDP
High performance tires.(If I hadnt got the lead in every single race I did lasst night it would have been totally different stories. You guys do know about the .1 in 60ft = .2-.3 in 1/4mile.

ha, i had a very interesting night as well. Two races

me vs old school BMW M5 -

we started at a light and out of first gear he took me a little but by my shift in second gear i was at his door and by the end of second gear i was a nose ahead of him and just kept slowly edging him. FWD sucks

me vs subaru STI turbo -

this was once again from a stop. Them cars are quick but they get real weak at high end. Once we started he jumped out ahead of me, had me by like a full car length, i was at his rear bumper. Then i just kept gaining and gaining and by my shift into 3rd gear i was even with him and didnt have enough room to really get past him. He was stock though, one person.

I have subs in back, 2k1 wheels and every feature for maxima plus i'm 280. Car is heavy as a bisch.

oh yeah? that's nothin...

I raced a yellow Murcielago last night. The guy had me by half a car when we both hit 165 mph. I then slowed down because it was on a gravel road - a little dangerous if ya know what I mean

He pulled up beside me and asked: "watcha got in there?". I answered: "FU man, you just got spanked lol lol buahahahahahaha".

That's when I think the guy got p!ssed off because he shot out my tires and left.

I later heard he raced a BPU Accord and won, but I doubt that's true. The Accord would've had his @ss.

i recently test drove an sti and i do admit switching gears was a little different and needed some getting used to. the sti is tooooo fast. im sorry but with the mods you have that car shoulda had u even if he did **** up the shifting. i mis shifted the sti and managed to still keep the car movin at a fast speed. (salesman was ****ed wit me and was furious when i told him ill think about getting the car lol)

now ive never driven a srt4 but from what i hear that car is fast as well and that the engine is underrated, meaning it feels like its pushing more than the stated hp, sorta tthe way the 3 series bmw is) unless his girl was a total fatass he shoulda did alot better.

ive seen a street race with a 93 turbo lude and no matter what, he couldnt get a good launch but once he reached top end he was flyin. those hondas are reeeeeeeeaaaly boost friendly and can do some dammage.

the evo with the 5people might have been true if he ****ed up the shifting as well as having a car full of people. that car is fast as well. my friends z28 got spanked by an evo and his Z28 is damn fast. those evos are beasts.

alot of factors could have been played in your victories, maybe they were jus playin around, maybe they werent racing, oh well good kills i guess

btw, dont they have EvoVIII, not VII in USA? (which is still CRAP compared to Japanese LanEvo...which can do 0-60 in bout 4.5 secs...not crap@$$ 5.4 ... americans really like to screw up good cars before importing them
