V1 Radar hardwire on 2003 maxima

Where can i find step by step instructions to hardwire my Valentine one radar detector to my 2003 maxima so its towards the top of the windshield and the wire goes in by the rearview mirror? I know that there is some kind of a way where u have to take out the sunglass holder and go under the steering wheel to the switchboard
anyone have info or links on this, I'd appreciate it
