just installd frankencar

and i gotta ask...is it suppose to be that loud when i go WOT??? i have an apexi filter...i was so shocked at the first ride around the neighborhood...also can someone link me the post on how to reset the ecu?? my SES light came on because i pulled out the car out of hte garage without the intake on

I can't help you with the SES, but the intake is pretty loud at WOT. I love the aggressive growl and under normal acceleration you hardly notice it.

Yes, it's supposed to be that loud. BTW, Did you just turn off the battery and install the intake? That's what I did and no SES light. Does anyone know if I did this wrong, giving me a chance of getting the SES light soon?

Leave the terminal off the battery overnight and it will clear its self.

or go somewhere like autozone and pull the code and clear it.

That's what I would do. That way you don't have to reset the clock and radio from having the battery off.

we settled it with some lawyers and they paid off my 2k3 and change the transmission on it

BTW, intake owners, Will you remove your intake and put on the air box before getting an oil change at the dealer?

I didn't take my intake off when I went to the dealer for an oil change. I had no problem, but I think it varies from dealer to dealer. My SM seems pretty cool so far. From what I read, some SM's are real jerks.

You take it to dealer bro? I buy the oil and filter, and have a neighborhood shop put it on lift, ten minutes later im out, and just $10 lighter. they are at Kedzie near Belmont. small corner shop.
