Hey, I ordered one from 2kRacing (who I recommend you don't buy anything from - the customer service is totally NON-existent, shipping's slow... and they don't know blue from red) and it was crap.
The intake is pretty poorly made... it looks like something out of a McDonalds happy meal, kinda ricey really..... but, there could be some who have had really good experiences with them.

If you're looking for an intake, I really liked the JWT popcharger when we had it, but, really really like the Injen intake a whole bunch! It sounds soo sweet...

I had their ram air system in my old car. I thought it was great, gave my beast some power, which it lacked greatly. Didn't have any problems just with installing it and taking it off. Had complications with certain electronics, don't really remember which parts, but once it was fixed i was good to go.

A freind of mine got a Weapon R for his 2k and it didnt fit. The mid pipe didnt have enough vacuum hookups. Another friend got a CAI for his 89 and again it didnt fit, so he used it as an HAI. IMO the filter is a compleat piece of poo. Its too long (rubs the fender) and has terrible filtration. I bet the piping is fine for a 4th gen but I'd ditch the filter and get a K&N. With that said buy something else.

IIRC, the weapon R uses a foam filter. Foam filters are more likely to break down and leave particulate matter in your engine.

Plus, I don't know why, but to me: Weapon R =

the only thing that keeps me hesitant from buying the cai is the fact that i need to drill a hole in the fender wall to install the filter. is it really prone to getting wet or becoming submerged in water?

I got the FrankenCar hybrid intake, it was simple to install, very quick on shipping, and made a huge difference in my performance (I have an auto, so I need all the help I can get!). Go to www.frankencar.com to check it out.
