1 ok i install 3mm (4,000 mcd) in my cruise light. thiers 2 of the in the switch one is on when u turn the light on and the other one is on only when u turn it on. will looks liek the one when u turn it on for the cruise 2 work pops the led. i replaced it twice already.. and ideas y???? BTW idid use resistor giving 2 me. when i bought the led from Ebay. btw my cruise doesn't work 2 im gonna look at the fuse.

EDIT: anyone know where its located??? look in the car/engine bay found nothing

2. my security light it works/ / flash only for like a day then stops replaced it twice (used a 5mm led 4,000mcd) use the stock resistor in thier.

anyone know whats the deal with this???????? im getting ****ed they keep on blowing

Short answer:
The LED's keep on blowing because you either never used a resistor, or the current resistor is of an insufficient value.

Use the resistors that came with the LED's.

i used the ones that came with the leds. lloks liek the ones that flash on and off burn out. any ideas??? i checked 2 see if they where tounching pos/neg but their not.

 

or.. you could use 12v LED's?
