Frankencar Intakes

hey, has anyone heard anything or had an experience with frankencar intakes?
I would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks,

I just installed mine. Relatively easy install and the sound is incredible. Can't say theres much of a performance gain although it does seem to pull a little harder up top. I'll be going to the track soon so then I'll see if it actualy helps. If you're serious about modding then I'd go with a cold air intake but I don't really plan on going all out cause I'll probably only have the car for 2 more years.

Go on EBAY, find a $20-$30 intake and buy that. Same thing. Replace the filter with a K&N if you want, waste of money if you ask me.

i've had my frankencar for about 9 months now and love it. it's really only good for the sound and nothing more. i noticed a slight increase in the high rpm range, but that's all. the sound is incredible though and i've received many compliments on it.

i tend to agree that it only pulls harder up top but its worth it for the sound alone. (it really sounds evil) I love it. Just dont expect to get it for like 2 months customer service is really slow when they're "out of stock".

Well... I love it... My favorite thing about this intake is it sound. I mean isnt that what we buy intakes for? I just love 2nd gear about 3k rpms... People pratically break their necks turning to see what that growl is. I owned a Stillen intake on my 98 and then the Frankencar on my 96. the frankencar is better sounding. I felt a little acceleration gain but nothing significant.

Frankencar the company is makin a fortune off this intake. It WAS expensive but as soon as it got on my car it forget about. Frankencar took about a month 2 ship it to me. It took them a call from me to light a fire in there ***.

If i could do it again i probably would. Good luck

Nice intakes from a nice guy. If you want a quality intake, get the Frankencar.

I have used the place racing cai for a while then switched to the bombz racing intake I got on ebay for $30 and then used a jwt pop charger after the maf sensor and noticed a huge difference in performance and sound. cost me about $160 because I got a good deal from jwt because I live right by them and just picked it up down the street at there wharehouse.
