alarm going off for no reason, HELP!!!

The factory alarm on my '92 Maxima SE started going off for no reason. The neighbors called the cops twice allready while I was at work. It usually starts going off after standing for a couple of hours. Can someone describe a process of disconnecting the alarm on this model? I was told that there is a sensor under the steering wheel shaft that I can adjust but after checking it out, I couldn't find anything besides tons of wires. Please help!!!

Isn't there a fuse for factory alarm?

The '92 model does not have a remote and the only way to deactivate it is with a key. The problem is not deactivating it, but the fact that I'm not always there to deactivate. Like during the day when I'm at work, it would go off for no reason. I'm tired of getting calls from cops saying that my car is disturbing the neighborhood. I've also tried taking out the fuse but it does not cut off the alarm. Does anyone know of how to completely disconnect it? Any help is appreciated.
