I guess you haven't seen the show before then. All the cars come out looking like a pimp's suit and they all have nasty chrome rims that are 2 sizes too big.

Yeah, the pimpin' does tend to go overboard to the point of junky. Why does it seem like so many people around the org. seem to have a problem with chrome wheels though? Funny how it seems to be the opposite most places I go. Or maybe I'm just a victim of the ghetto. Who knows. Chrome does give you a swagger though, but most people on here seem to be sport car freaks. To each his own.

Hey, if I had a piece of junk car worth less than a grand and someone wanted to dump 20K+ into it, I'd be excited with any outcome.

As far as the chrome wheel thing, I think chrome can give a look some class. Yeah, most of the kids on this board want the 'racing' look. Yes, 20+ inches of chrome with black rubberbands around them can be overboard, but to each their own. A nice set of 16-18 chrome rims on a max makes it stand out, in a good way. The chrome rims on mustangs and corvettes gives them a nice look, just like the chrome rims on a Lexus.

hell if it was me, I would take those 20" ugly chrome rims and sell them the instant I left the shop and purchase a nice turbo....something useful
