Is it hard to replace the speedometer coil and the rear brakes?

Is it hard to replace the speedometer coil and the rear brakes?

ive been playing DIY Guy lately, and my speedometer is just about dead. i know its need the transmission but does it call for me moving anything hard imparticular? and the rear brakes, can they be replaced by a novice?

Not sure what the speedometer coil is, but if its the speed sensor its in the tranny, you could replace that, it isnt hard.

Same with the rear brakes.
If you need a manual for that, lmk and I can refer you to one

You can change the rear brakes if your a novice - am assumng you want to just change either the shoes or the discs & not do a brake conversion!

If you have discs, should take 30-45 minutes - remember you need to wind the rear calipers in - they don't just push in like the fronts. If you have drums, work with one side at a time and take your time - use the other side as a reference to how everything all goes together. Check that the wheel cylinders aren't leaking - if they are, replace them with new or you'll contaminate the new shoes - and that's just a waste of time. Use BrakCleen or equivalent once the old shoes are off & remember to grease the backing plate where the shoes rub.
Should take 30 minutes per side but can take much, much longer - esp for a first timer.
