So the other day I am cruising around and the cel comes on. Great I think to myself what could it possibly be now. So I scan the codes and its 1706 and according to autozone that code means excessive speed while in park.
So I think to myself thats great...........now if only I had a automatic I would fix this issue. LOL
Its a 5speed car and always has been.
I am on alldata.com right now lookin at the codes. However anyone else with a manual ever get that code and if so......what did you do to fix it.

The problems I am having are hard starts at least 4 times to get her to start and a very rough idle. Now that may be cause by the copper plugs that are about 10k old.........maybe with all my highway driving they have gone bad. Regardless maybe the 1706 has something to do with it. Any ideas?
