Interior lights won't come on

Today I did a couple of rewiring (corner sidemarker to signals, foglights to corner lights) and I checked all of my bulbs afterwards to make sure they come on and they did. Now when I checked it out later tonight none of the interior bulbs (guage cluster, Climate Control, shifter) all won't come on. The sidemarker lights won't even come on. Are the side marker lights using the same fuses for these? I just hope that it is a blown fuse. BTW my fogs won't come on with the cornering light. I'm guessing it's either the relay or a fuse. Any suggestions before I get down and dirty tomorrow?

OK it has something to do with the foglight rewire due to the fact that when I put on my signals the brighter of the 1157 bulb comes on but not the dim light. So there's a short somewhere and I have to find out where it's at. More than likely I will be rewiring from the relay to the connector. If that doesn't work than I will be rewiring the light switches too. First I am replacing the fuses and probably give a 15 watt fuse for the 10 watt fuse. I am using aftermarket fogs so I don't have a relay for it. So my foglights are wired directly to the corners.

I don't know why the cornering light experts haven't jumped in. Maybe they will. Some people experience what you have after the cornering light rewire. IMHO it sounds like to much of an electrical load, but it works for some, doesn't work for others. The dashlights not working, and rear side marker lights not working is a common complaint-usually from 1)recent corner rewire attempts 2) shorted lamp socket in rear marker lamps 3) recent aftermarket stereo install 4) perhaps a bad dimmer or light stalk switch. Less sure about #4, but #2 and #1 are widely reported. Maybe someone can jump in about installing your fogs, or upgrading the wiring of the fogs or corners. In the mean time, I guess you could check the rear lamp sockets, but sounds like a cornering rewire/fog problem.

So my foglights are wired directly to the corners.

There's your problem right there, you need to hook up your fogs using a relay, and only using the corner light for the switch signal.

I was doing it the same way and I kept blowing the "tail light fuse" I believe, I don't remember if it killed my gauge lights (I never did it at night) but a lot of my lights didn't work. Also I just replaced the 10 amp fuse with a 30 amp one, and it worked, but it's not correct....Craig Brace helped me out with the wiring for the relay so if you need any help you can PM me about what to wire where.

I found the fuse and it blew. I do need the relay write-up so you got pm Dmad.
