Clock too dim when lights are on during day.

This is so annoying: When day driving with lights on for safety I can't read the clock as it's dimmed. The dash brightness adjustment works for for climate control and Bose does not affect the clock for some reason. Any links for how to stop the dimming? I checked the How 2's but didn't see one for this. Thanks y'all.

Yeah, should be less than 5 minutes. Take it out, snip the wire, tap them off and put it back in.

Turn the dimmer to the right until it clicks.

Has anyone rewired the clock to stay bright with the radio and climate control?

I would rather try this than just leave it bright all the time. Will have to check the wiring diagrams.......

In my country and countries around there we have the law: "... the headlights must be turn on during full day, blah, blah, blah...".
It means thet when the sun is shining the drivers of maximas don't see anything on clock and climate control display. It's discomfortable for us when we are driving and the sun is shining.
