People trying to steal my car!!!!!

The other night my neighbor told me that he saw three guys in a Maxima looking at my car at 3:30 am. Do you guys know about a good Car Alarm that it is easy to install?

If they wnat the car, let them take it!..

LOL

If somebody were to steal from my car, i hope they take the whole thing, and that I never ever see it again.

But i hate having a break in and having stuff broken/stolen but i still have to live with my violated car.

As for alarms, i have a Compustar 2W-FMAS.

www.compustar.org

its a remotestarter paging alarm.

I got prestige aps996a, 2 way paging alarm with remote start. $150 for alarm, $150 for install. Works great if you are in range, which doesnt happen very often in the city.

Nothing is unstealable. If they want it bad enough, they can steal it.

Stay up late a couple nights in a row hiding in the dark with your bro and a couple of bats. When homeboys come to jack your car jump out and beat 'em down....

Forget the alarm, that'll do nothing. You ever see people look when an alarm goes off? No, they just think, "turn that annoying thing off". Get Lojack or something. That way your car can actually be located.

but that's too extreme for car safety..

a fair Viper alarm with a remote pager would be enough. check the GROUP DEAL forum..

i love my alarm, i just wish the range was longer. But if my car is anywhere within 500 feet of me, someone pulls a door handle, or hits it on the roof and my pager will go crazy.

also
wire a hidden kill switch
and get auto lock or something.. it may be breakable but it takes time..

they can steal a car but if it takes too long, they leave it... time is crucial to theives so the best thing you can do, is make it hard to steal the car.. you cannot prevent it

although if you get a Glock and take a few out, it's unlikely they'll return.
good thing i have 3 different cop neighbors
and many more in the area
so they won't let cars get snatched like that...

make sure you get the glass sensor with that alarm. i heard clifford makes great alarms also. i had a friend w/ the clifford black jack system. it requires you to enter a code (on a little 2 button key pad) everytime the vehicle is shifted into drive... no code = no go.

man, haven't you seen "Boyz N the Hood"? Yeah, I'm sure if you take out one of their buddies, the guys jacking your car won't come back and take YOU out.

let em have the car....don't do something stupid that could cause them to take your LIFE. You can get another car. Can't get another LIFE...

Even having 3 different cop neighbors won't help. Like 2 or 3 months ago another .org members' brothers cars had their rims and systems stolen (off honda accords) from the driveway at two in the morning. One car had a 2-way alarm and the next door neighbor was a cop and the neighbor across the street was also a cop. If they had a little more time, they would have taken the rims of the .org members maxima also.

get a viper, i have a viper 791 with engine kill. It worked one time, these little high school kids tried to break into my car, but they didn't know i had engine kill. I just laughed at them while i chased them down the street. Worked wonders for me

I guess I'm trying to figure out the benefit of having a gun in your car when you're in bed asleep and someone tries to do something to your car and the gun is in the car? Guess I would rather have someone break into my car (its been done) than shoot them.

My vote goes towards the Viper.
