gauging interest: Carbon Fiber Door Pillars for 3rd gens!
hi guys, i am gauging interest on manufacturing carbon fiber door pillars (the external ones) four pieces total they run along the middle top side of the car between the two windows. i just want to see if people would be interested in this, they will be highly glossy carbon fiber like that on your hoods, will not fade yellow, and will be easy to install. price will be in the 45 dollars shipped range. thank you for all responses!

thank you all for the show of interest so far.
dmad: the piece at the rear we are considering making but i think the 2 pieces on the middle of each side are much more important. if there is enough interest in those 3rd pieces in the rear we might make them. thanks!

Prototyping has been done! Here is the new thread: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....34#post2969834
yeah really guys...just like slammed95 said the piece on the door is just part of the door painted black. It doesnt come off so there is no way for a replacement.
Look at you cars before you start talking about something being a cheap ghetto sticker
They are talking about using real CF and using 3m tape on it...they are not talking about a sticker that is fake printed CF.

no you can repair it by pulling it out if you want to. Or you can cut it off and then weld a new piece on.
But yeah if you dont want to repair it (most fiesable option) then you would have to replace the whole door...or buy one of these CF pieces to cover it up.
