I just bought a full set of studs, washers, and nuts from Courtesy Nissan. Cost me about $100 for enough to do both sides (12 of each). As I was choking on the price, I also thought about whether or not I could get these at a hardware store or something, but as I thought about the amount of work ahead of me, I decided that it wasn't something I wanted to do twice. So, that and about $20-$30 worth of gaskets will get you the parts. Unless you need a new manifold. I lucked out and found a new rear one on ebay for $50. Normally they sell for about $150 there. As for the front one, I went ahead and bought a used one on ebay for about $10, just in case I need it. I'm figuring on about 3 days do do the work based on what I have read from other guys who have done it. Knowing me, tho, if I think it will take 3 days, it'll take 5...

If you can still return those studs I'd recommend ARP. Check out the links I posted above and you'll see what I mean. For a 100 you can get a ARP kit from Summit Racing that has a stainless steel type stud and hardware. If you wanna call up the company direct and explain your problem they'll sell you just the studs (12) for around 30 bucks w/shipping. Another 10 to 20 and you'll be able to get stainless steel grade 8 nuts and washers. These have to be searched for at various hardware stores. I had them installed and they work fine. Some of the original spacers need to be used but other than that they're cake. Also, they have allen fittings on the top for easy installation.

Good luck w/the project

just go to the hardware store and get some 8-25 studs, thats all i did and it worked just fine, but i also did this when i put new head gaskets in so my heads were redone and the broken studs were removed
