Rolling Fenders/Fix Rubbing....

anyone care to elaborate on this. what does one do if this situation arises. is the only option raising the car and/or rolling your fenders or are there other ways to fix this.

also, if rolling fenders is the only option, is there a DIY method or gotta take it to a shop. thanx.

they sell a tool thats hooks on your studs or hub or something and will roll your fender, its fairly easy I believe. i think it goes for around $300 but dont know who sells it, I would try to buy it and charge people to use it. I also read that you need to heat up your paint just a little bit.....

yeah, i found that tool. it's a funky lookin thing....
for now, i'm gonna raise the rear a tad. it's cause i'm tucking that's causing the rubbing. i'm barely touching the inner lip of the fender. that'll handle me for now, but once people get int he car, i'll hav ethis issue again, so gettin these fenders rolled will ahve to happen pretty soon. thanx

Polo, I have the same rubbing problems your experiencing. I get it if I hit a big bump in the road or if I have passengers in the back seat. Since I have gc coilovers, I raised the back so it doesnt rub that often.

I have never got this done yet. Very near future though. My friend has the tool and and experienced body man. Right now I have 19x8.5 Maya DTM's on my 03 Maxima SE. My plan is to go staggered offset with a 19x9 in front. 19x9.5 rear. I am going after Japanese VIP look. Rim that is deep as possible but still tucking. I'll post pics of before & after once we complete. Thanks.
