Muffler tin can sound!!!
Can I safely remove the heat shield around the muffler?
I have this funky sound that is super irriatating.
It usually happens at around or over 3800 RPM's. Most noticable when engine braking.
Then it happend today when i revved it a little over 2000.
I think it is the heat sheild rattling around the Muffler.
Would it be sketchy to remove the heat shield? i know its next to the gas tank, but am i going to explode if i do?
