Anyone ever drilled thru the shelf behind the rear seats? I need to mount some brackets up there. Any tips? problems? stuff to watch out for?

 

You mean the rear deck where the speakers are mounted?

Don't think there's anything tricky about it. It's just thin metal.

Look for a HOW TO for installing the rear speakers. It'll show you how to remove the seats and trim so you don't damage anything.
