Yep, I got a hold of this Max on ebay and to my luck, the
seller lived in Hartford, CT (same as I). I got it for $9,600
This car is for my parents but if this GLE had a moonroof
like mine I would def switch my ride for this one (this one
has XM radio, BOSE system and CD changer, auto climate,
black leather. You can see it at this ebay link
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

I think I got an awesome deal since Private party selling
price is 12K in Edmunds and KBB. What you'll think??

Looks good to me. It was nice of you to buy your parents a car.

Their car (89 nissan sentra) was all rusting away and since they are
babysitting my lil girl (3 months today), they needed a safe car
to take her in. Nothing better than a Max (except a Hummer H2)

was this your first car off of ebay? i've heard so many horror stories about ebay and cars that i've stopped looking at it all together, but then again you said you talked to the guy privately so i guess that doesnt really involve ebay...anyways nice car...i'm sure your parents will love it

To buy from ebay, there is many thing to take in consideration (ie: ratings,
feedbacks, seller location, etc). If the guy selling would not live close to me,
I def would not buy a car w/out physically testing it. I lucked out. I took it
to RI (@200 miles round trip) and this GLE rides better than my SE. I am
extremely happy w this car.

PS: Get unlimited carfax reviews and check the VIN's to see what kind of history
they have (no rentals, salvage, etc). Good luck getting as lucky
