What 5 speeds are compatible with our cars, and what vehicles are they in? I have read pre 81 280 Z and all year 280, 240, 260 along with all year maxima up to 84, but I dont think so for all of it. I also wonder if the block is different

 

Hey Jeff....just a suggestion...try looking for a Nissan Patrol L60 series (early 80's). Here in New Zealand they had the LD28 motor and some were 5speed. I assume the US models would too.
