Just got a new security system

Hi. I just got a new AEM security system. In the car manual, you know how it says that you can roll the front window's up and down by pushing the lock/unlock buttons? Would this security system be able to do that with my Maxima?

Thanks.

You must have the modules to do that. Viper has the same thing. Check for the parts number Remember oem alarms go into aftermarket alarms are NOT plug and play. If anything there a plug and a b i t c h! lol

yea you can roll them up....hold lock down for 3 seconds and then trunk button for 3 seconds and it will roll the windows up after you roll them down. it is all in your owners manual.
i use it to cool my car down when i am walking to it from place.

I really hope you're kidding about the roll-up feature. I wish people would just stop saying that cause it just starts another onslaught of "can I roll my windows up with the key fob" threads. BTW, you can get a kit to do that for $15 on ebay.

So, when I get this Viper installed, I will not be able to roll down my windows? What would I need to buy in order to do that?

EDIT: What is this module you speak of, and where can I get it?

Integrate factory power windows with your security system, for convenient remote control operation. Roll up windows upon arming, or use an auxiliary channel to roll down or vent. May require additional parts or labor—consult your sales representative for details.

So, if the window's can roll down with the factory key FOB with the factory alarm system put in by Nissan, then why wouldn't mine be able to roll down? Would it be because of the stock system was put in the car before it was rolled out of the dealerships lot?

Hey, thanks for the replies everyone, I don't mean to give everyone a hard time with this. It's just that other Maxima's I see, can roll there window's down by holding the OEM key fob, and it'd be real convenient for me to do so too. So, if my window's wouldn't roll down when I get this installed, would the dealership have some part that I could get? Or what about that module that Jatan gave, would that be installed into the car, and work with my existing remote?

Thanks again everyone.
