need help!! my car lags at low RPM

need help!! my car lags at low RPM

sup guys

i just had this prob goin on like a week ago, i felt it when i was driving in 4th or 5th gear at low rpm then when i try to step on it the car will lag a little then it will start to go my car has 140k on it could it be the transmission or what??

Ignition coils? Are you feeling a "miss" at low rpms, or just lag?

How low of an rpm are you talking about?

around 2,700 RPM
the car like keeps on cutin off but not for a long time like a second or so then it will start to go

MAFS, check 2 see if you have this code. i was having this same problem and got the code for MAFS. i took it off and there was a thin film of grease and dirt, i cleaned it off an and it was ok from there on. MAFS= mass air flow sensor, in-case you didnt know. good luck

I was am having the same problem but the CEL doesn't come on... Where is the MAFS? what does it look like? Help. Thanks!

how do u clean the MAF??? how do u check for codes

i just cleaned the screen with a semi damp cloth and got all of the gunk off, i didnt touch that lil sensor inside.

Although if you have to worry about emissions get a hi-flo cat.
