Sunroof seal?

Hello:

My 97 maxima sunroof leaks. Looks like the window doesnt fully move up into the gap and create a flush seal with the outside of the roof. Does anyone know how to adjust this??? Thanks!

i have a similar situation but the gap isnt too bad cause mine doesnt leak. I hear there is a screw u have to loosen to adjust or something of that nature. Bring car to the June 5th meet someone is bound to know how to fix the problem

Hmmm nissan sunroofs are kind of a pain. If u wanna really work on the rail part you have to drop the whole roof liner out. But you shouldnt have to do that. On either side of the glass there should be plastic covers that you can take off and you'll see these metal shims where the glass bolts to the sliding rail assy. Stick some more shims in there.

Thanks, I suspected shims were the answer.
Cheers!
