should i get an unorthodox pulley

Just like it says should i get an unorthodox pulley? i already have a y-pipe, catback, techno ecu upgrade, and injen Cai. I want to do something next thats not that expensive and was wondering if i should do this mod or not. I believe that i heard somewhere on the org that pulleys for our cars are bad? But some people say its ok for our cars. Also how much would the gains be for this mod? any input would be appreciated.

I've heard people say you lose low end torque , torque moves the car especially off the line . Dont know if its worth it .

Noticed a big difference right away. Make sure you change out the front crank seal when you do this. It helped out my gas milage +2 in town. You dont notice it after a while though. Make sure you reset/relearn the ecu.

The big problem is getting the stock pulley off. You're gonna need a serious impact wrench to get that nut off. A breaker bar won't cut it.

It's not that hard of a task & if you remove the front right wheel & the plastic cover you have more then enough room to work. If you check look in the mod how too's you'll find pictures & instructions on how to complete the procedure.

Here's your answer:

14.4s@98mph with a 2.2 60' with the UDP

and

14.4s@98mph with a 2.2 60' without the UDP

i didnt hit the track after i got my UDP installed, the butt dyno told me nothing, the car felt the same. i have always thought hey i would still rather have this mod than not, but after reading dave's post it kinda makes you feel like you wasted your money. and dont forget the extra belts you will need with the UDP (alternator & power steering)
