help with engine issue

I've been having a problem for the last 2 months or so with the car loosing power when it warms up. when it is cold it has all sorts of power. This almost sounds like the chts but i checked it with a multi meter and it returns accurate values. when the car is all the way warm and i try to climb a hill or put any kind of heavy load on the engine it begins to pulse gently like the mixture is being adjusted. it's almost like the car has less power in closed loop than it does in open loop. could anyone point me to what would be causing the pulsing and loss of power when warm?
thanks

hmmm, when's the last time you did a tune up, or check timing? How do the plugs look? Fuel mileage getting worst? Noticing any pinging?

Kinda sounds like what my car was doing...

I took my car in to the dealer to have the water pump replaced (I know, but I was being lazy...),
and since the pump was leaking all over the timing belt, the dealer wanted to replace the belt, so
it was done as well (for a second time, the belt was replaced by the mechanic at the lot I bought the
car from about 50 miles before I bought it, but they didn't replace the water pump, idiots!).

While they were in there, I had them replace the CHTS and two small hoses for the fuel pressure regulator.

My car was doing the same problem you're describing plus it really had problems with hot start issues... all gone now.

My car starts and runs like brand new (well, better than it ever has since we've owned it!).

Hope this helps!
