Broken HomeLink Sunroof

Hey guys,
this is my first post but not my first problem.
Basicly i bought my 2k 5sp SE with 17's with 55k on it (got it at dealer auction, my uncle is a dealer it was off-lease). The sunroof and the homelink did not work. I had checked all the fuses over and over and even gave the sunroof juice from the lighter but no good. Then at 58k my oil pump died and nissan put a new motor in it :-). After that my homelink started working but not my roof. Eitherway today my homelink quit working again, the red little light doesnt light up. Any ideas, this sucks.

thanks guys,
Gene K

try this: unhook your battery, and step on your brakes a few times. hook your battery back up, and hit the tilt button on your sunroof.

seriously. go try it right now.

oh, and if that doesn't work, i can tell you how to diagnose it further, but you'll need a voltage meter.

Didn't work at all. Oh and it reset my trip meters(i use them for mileage and oil change intervals, but i record th eoil changes on paper too), thats stupid cause i runs of the same computer as the mileage of the car. Whats the next step. I;ve already poked around in the switch are but i wonder how you approach this.

thanks for everything,
Gene
