This morning my SES light came on, i was thinking oh great my intake must have screwed up my throttle positioning sensor again....so i ran to Autozone to get it checked out on my lunch break and the guy started laughing, i was like what so funny? He said you didn't tighten the gas cap...he said it kicked off the SES light. I thought the guy was joking, but low and behold , my gas cap was loose!

 

Yup...goes to show it can happen. That is the first thing to check when you see an SES light.

 

Mine did that a few weeks ago.

 

Hahaah. It is a satisfying and easy fix when you get an SES light though.
